The abbot explained his intention to allow monks in Thailand to study Pali to be able to understand the Buddhist teaching clearly, which enable monks to carry out important duties in teaching and maintaining will correct Buddhist teaching. The temple has been very successful in conducting this duty. This can be seen from the passing rate of Pali exams. However, in order to further their studies, the fund is needed to keep this initiative going.
